YLISSB QSO Party Guidelines

Frequencies

Pick a 'clear' frequency in any of the following areas and start calling "CQ QSO Party." You never know who will answer. These are SUGGESTED areas only.

CW: 40-60 khz up from the bottom of 10, 15, 20, 40 and 75/80

Phone: 75m - 3.873 - 3.888

            40m - 7.273 - 7.288

            20m - 14.273 - 14.300

            15m - 21.373 - 21.388

            10m - 28.573 - 28.588

*DX outside North America may make contacts on 14.332 EVEN IF the system is running with a control operator. North American operators cannot count contacts on system frequencies when there is a system control. Usual exchange of call, signal report, and ISSB number if member.

1. Contacts should be one to one and unassisted. Contacts made on nets or mini nets should not be submitted for point credit.

2. Check 40 and 80 meters on the hour.

3. The same station may be worked on other bands for additional points.

4. KH6 and KL7 are both US and DXCC countries.

5. WAC and DXCC list determines country/continent status.

6. Party results will be announced at the annual convention in June.

7. Winners will receive certificates of award.

8. Awards will be issued in 2categories, SSB, CW . In order to get maximum participation in the QSO Party, you must choose only one category that you are entering when sending in your logs.

*Note: To qualify scoring points/contacts: Each member worked on each band counts as ONE contact each. Therefore to work N4ZGH on phone on 10m and 20m = 2 contacts. If N4ZGH is worked CW on 2 bands = 2 contacts ALSO.
